چکیده
Gingival biotype is described as the thickness of gingiva in faciopalatal or faciolingual dimension. Aesthetic highly con-sidered anterior teeth. A 35-year-old woman came with a complaint that color her front teeth was slightly dark after root canal treatment 10 years ago. Clinical and radiographic examinations upper left lateral incisor showed no signs inflammation infection. Biotype evaluation carried out calibrated UNCprobe using transparency me-thod. Subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) tunneling technique performed on to thicken gingi-va around tooth root. SCTG autograft stable gingival material if goal surgery gingiva, so it remains gold standard areas require esthetics.

Optimizing Gingival Biotype Using Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft: A Case Report and One-Year Followup
Gingival recession is the exposure of root surfaces due to apical migration of the gingival tissue margins. The principal objectives of treating a gingival recession are to achieve better esthetics and reduce hypersensitivity. The gingival biotype is an important modifying factor in the treatment of gingival recession. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the significance of changing the s...

Patients today have become excessively concerned about esthetics. These esthetic concerns of patients have become an integral part of periodontal practice. Gingival recession is an esthetic problem that can be successfully treated by means of several mucogingival surgical approaches, any of which can be used, provided that the biologic conditions for accomplishing root coverage are satisfied wi...
متن کاملSubepithelial connective tissue graft for root coverage: clinical case reports and histologic evaluation.
If the clinical goal of the periodontal plastic surgery is the complete root coverage of gingival recessions, then the microscopically goal standard is to obtain a true periodontal regeneration. Only the histological examination can reveal cellular events unrolled into the grafted tissue-root surface interface and the nature of the clinically observed attachment. To our knowledge, there are no ...

The unpredictability of current surgical procedures for papilla reconstruction has been a matter of concern for both periodontists and patients. This case report presents a complete papilla reconstruction in a 20-year-old woman using an interposed subepithelial connective tissue graft. The results show that this technique can be successfully used in treating the loss of papillae and achieving l...
